while driving around the streets near DDT's therapy (outside the village! yikes), I came across a cool looking park. Well DDT, Panda, and I decided to visit there this morning. It is on the corner of Yale and Bryan in Irvine. There is a castle and multiple play areas. Lots of seating, grassy areas, shading, etc.
I cannot even believe I am 28 weeks already!!
*Passed my glucose test
*Official Due Date/Time is June 11th at 11am. (Panda's Birthday!!)
*Bought DDT's toddler bed
*Decided what stroller we wanted
We are getting a lot done and will be posting some pics of DDT's new room when it is completed.
For now, enjoy pics of DDT talking to Baby Brother. Oh and ignore DDT's outfit, we hung out at the beach this afternoon and didn't bother changing his shirt.
While I was cleaning up the backyard, I discovered a rollie pollie breeding ground. This was the first experience that DDT has had with rollie pollies and it was quite funny. I would put them on his hand but then he would let them fall and once they started moving towards him, he ran. It was so funny, I kinda peed my pants laughing.
Then being a boy, he decided that he would kill the rollie pollies.
Once the killing was done, he decided to take a spin on his Skuut. A bike with no pedals and teaches them balance. He is getting quite good at it and I am sure he is going to be a sponsored BMXer before I know it.

Run, DDT, Run
Do you ever have one of those days that starts with a stumble, a bang, etc? Well poor DDT started off his day at MY GYM with a full frontal bang into another kid. Then at Therapy, the occupational therapist came out to tell me that he went running into a mirror. Great, 2nd head injury of the day! Then as we were walking home from downtown he decided to take a tumble on the concrete. This was a bad one. Bloody mouth and whining the entire time home. Poor Panda had to carry him home which was quite a workout. Of course, we decided not to take the stroller because we wanted to wear DDT out before bedtime....lesson learned, take the stroller next time.
So 3 injuries and a good abrasion to top it off. I will post a pic later.

I will be back in the saddle again starting tomorrow...well, I guess starting today since I am blogging this.
So today I had an ultrasound and I really thought it was going to be my last. On one hand I was going to miss seeing the little guy but on the other hand, glad that I didn't have to keep going because it would mean no issues.
Well wrong....My next ultrasound is scheduled for April 6th. Panda and I are pros when it comes to looking at the kidneys on the u/s (thanks to DDT's issues). The kidneys seem to be retaining fluid. As Dr. Pan put it Mild to Moderate. Seriously, I totally let out a WTF in the Doc's office because I am wondering how child #2 can have the same issue that DDT has/had (Hydronephrosis)
So for now, we go back in a month and look at the kidney's again. UGH!! I am praying that the issue will resolve itself and we will not have to go through the same surgery that DDT had.
On a positive note, DDT got to see Dr. Pan (she helped deliver him) and he saw little bro on the big screen.
Today I donated DDT's toy box to his therapy center, UCP, United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County. This is where we spend 4 hours each week while DDT has speech and occupational therapy.
DDT does not have cerebal palsy but they do offer the therapy he is recommended to have by the Regional Center of OC. He is currently in the Early Intervention program due to his delayed speech and high sensory input needs. We started in January and DDT has made huge strides in his speech progress.
So as a thank you, I figured since we were re-doing DDT's room that I would pass on the toy box and they were overjoyed.
Feels good to give.
to make some money. My garage sale started at 7 am and by 11 am a majority of the things were gone. At the end of the day I made $290!! Woohoo!

Thanks to my sis-in-law who watched DDT all day today so that Panda and I could get things ready to go. And thanks to my folks for taking DDT tonight and tomorrow so that I don't have to worry about him running crazy.

S. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Grand Theft 5:14 p.m. A diamond studded Rolex watch was stolen from a public restroom in Hotel Laguna. The RP said he'd taken it off to wash his hands and had forgotten it and left the restroom. When he went back to get it, the watch wasn't there.
**Really?! the Rolex watch wasn't there? Hmmm, maybe you shouldn't wear something that expensive if you have to take it off to wash your hands....**

My Opinion - I am leaning towards Silver Moon because of the airplanes...Not sure if DDT would appreciate the train picture being in his little bro's room and would throw tantrums each time he saw it, not sure if the ice cream truck pic is colorful enough....
