to make some money. My garage sale started at 7 am and by 11 am a majority of the things were gone. At the end of the day I made $290!! Woohoo!
Thanks to Kiki and Munchi for stopping by. It didn't matter to Munchi that DDT was not here, it just meant that he had all the toys to himself!!
Thanks to Red, my niece, who helped lure customers in with her sign twirling.
Thanks to the villagers that "donated" their money to the Make Room For Baby cause.

Show Me The Money!!!!
So tomorrow is my garage sale and I am thinking I should do pretty well in the money situation...
Thanks to my sis-in-law who watched DDT all day today so that Panda and I could get things ready to go. And thanks to my folks for taking DDT tonight and tomorrow so that I don't have to worry about him running crazy.
Here are some pics of some of the "stuff". Mind you, this does not include the desk and all the boxes of extra baby clothes we are ridding our house of.
Oh and if you gave us anything in the pictures, sorry...

Stupid Villagers...
Another great posting from our police blotter:
S. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Grand Theft 5:14 p.m. A diamond studded Rolex watch was stolen from a public restroom in Hotel Laguna. The RP said he'd taken it off to wash his hands and had forgotten it and left the restroom. When he went back to get it, the watch wasn't there.
**Really?! the Rolex watch wasn't there? Hmmm, maybe you shouldn't wear something that expensive if you have to take it off to wash your hands....**

Handmade Challenge...
This is a great idea from the blog Cherry Tree Lane (who in turn got the idea from her cousin).
The first FIVE people to respond to this post will get something made by yours truly!!
I get to chose what it is, and make it just for YOU!!
However, this offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (although I'm hoping you do!)
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It will be done this year. (before December 31, 2009!)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. Unlike Cherry Tree Lane I am rather limited in my creativity channels but I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, card making... so it will definitely be a suprise as to what I make you!
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on YOUR blog and make the same offer to the first 5 people who respond on your blog entry, thereby continuing the fun!
The first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they will be posting this on their blog will win a homemade treat by me!
Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
I am actually looking forward to this and am welcoming the challenge!

Who Do You Love?
This was the question asked by Panda to DDT while driving with me to swim lessons...
Panda - "DDT, who do you love?"
DDT - "Dada"
Carebear - "DDT, who else do you love?"
DDT - "Papa"
At this point, I am getting a little perturbed.
Carebear - "Who else do you love?"
DDT - with a silly look and a long, long pause - "Momma"
I really thought Hankers or Blue (the fish) were going to make the cut ahead of me.
At least I made the top 3, we will see how tomorrow goes...

Decorating Decisions....
so we are in need of opinions in regards to Baby Boy #2's room. We are in love with a local village artist named Scott Moore - http://www.scottmooreart.com/index.html and need help deciding between the pictures below:
My Opinion - I am leaning towards Silver Moon because of the airplanes...Not sure if DDT would appreciate the train picture being in his little bro's room and would throw tantrums each time he saw it, not sure if the ice cream truck pic is colorful enough....
Your opinions?
