Just Realized...

2 months from today, Panda and I will be new parents again!! Yikes!

Egg Hunts and Choo Choo....

yesterday Panda and I decided to take DDT and his cousin CM to Irvine Regional Park. The park is awesome! It is huge and a great place to spend a couple of hours exploring the zoo, riding a train, checking out ducks, or playing at one of the multiple play areas. Around certain holidays they always have something to help celebrate. For Easter they had an Easter Egg hunt and of course, the Easter Bunny.

Good times were had by all, with the exception of CM meeting the Easter Bunny. Unfortunately, I am not able to post the Easter Bunny pics because our scanner is sitting in our basement but DDT was all smiles while his cousin CM was freaking out.

No Joke...

This was in our police blotter for the village....

12:57 p.m. South Coast Highway and The Montage - Bunnies. Police were dispatched to take two foundlings into custody: two tiny, newly born rabbits on the Montage grounds.

Words, Words, Words...

are abundant in our house lately. For those that don't know, DDT is in speech therapy 2x a week and we are just amazed by what is coming out of his mouth lately. When he started therapy he maybe had 5-10 words, this was in January and now, 2 months later, he has over 100 words.

Today he surprised me with Elmo. I have never heard him say it and just clear as day, he said it and kept saying it. So proud of my little man.

Why....

didn't you ask for my ID, dear cashier at Costco? I like to think that I have a baby face but when I came strolling through your line with a huge bottle of KettleOne, you didn't look twice.

Is it because:

*I have tons of gray hair?
*I am 7 months pregnant?
*I seem mature for my age?

Whatever the reason, throw me a bone next time and card me. I need a pick me up every now and then.
