We had a great time at kid's Christmas party at the fire station. DDT spent close to 5 hours running around like a kid in a candy store. He had a visit from Santa, rode on the fire truck, bounced (and bounced and bounced) in the bouncey house and hung out with Munchi (who by the way had a great time as well!).

A Day At The Farm...
Knott's Berry Farm that is. Well each year Knott's has a special for Law Enforcement and Fire Personnel - 2 free admissions! So our whole family got in for FREE!!! This was DDT's first trip to a major amusement park and he did great. We arrived around 10:30 and left around 4. PANDA was able to ride some rides by himself (I was sooo jealous!!) while DDT took a little nap in his stroller.

I remember....
when I was younger and my family would go to a Christmas tree farm to pick out our tree and have it cut down. Now the tradition with my folks shall be to go to the local Home Depot.

Crime in Mayberry....
This post was taken from our local paper this week:
Broadway - 200 Block Petty Theft 3:53 p.m. An employee of Laguna Drug called 9-1-1 to report that another employee had chased and caught a shoplifter in the alleyway behind Golden Spoon. The caller then advised police that the shoplifter had gotten away and was running toward Coast Hwy. Police and the employee encountered the suspect inside Starbucks. Dillon Patrick Bolton, 52, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a citizen's arrest charge of petty theft. He had taken a greeting card and immediately ran out of the store without paying.
Now someone has to buy him a "Thinking of You While You Are In Jail" card.....

I love....
my niece, RED, and nephew, BATBOY! I watched (can't say babysit since they are 12 and 10) tonight because their folks went with POLO, the oldest nephew, to his waterpolo dinner. We had a lovely dinner and DDT loved playing with them. We ended the night with watching Evan Almighty. Of course, RED fell asleep and BATBOY was wide awake when the folks came to pick them up about 10 minutes ago. I love when they hug me goodbye and tell me they love me.
I get all warm and fuzzy. I love being an aunt!

Christmas Cards
I have started working on the Christmas cards this year but I will have to admit they are not what they have been in the past. In the past, we have done staged photos but this year, I was lazy. I just picked 3 photos from my files and loaded them up. Just to think next year, we will have a little munchkin to add to the mix!
