this was in the Village police blotter:
Monday, April 27
8:21 a.m. 2000 Block and Zell Drive - Welfare Check. Three crows are attacking a cat in a tree. The suspects were gone on arrival and the cat is fine.

I would LOVE to see the person typing those blotters in and how he/she is just LAUGHING hysterically!
Wow, there are a lot of calls regarding bird activity in the Village. First Hawk eating a parrot, now crows eating cats. You know, mocking birds used to attack my cat whenever he tried to go outside at my parents house, but I guess in Huntington Beach we are too ghetto to think of it as a police matter. We save those calls for things like murders, accidents and robberies. While the blotter writer might be laughing, what is the poor police guy doing the welfare check thinking? "How did my job get so lame?"
