not sure what it is but my fuse is SHORT!! DDT is driving me crazy and I have raised my voice several times this morning because someone just doesn't want to listen. I think I need to see a therapist......or maybe I should just start drinking....

Sweetheart, give yourself a break!! ALL Mommies yell sometimes, don't be so hard on yourself! Plus, DDT is approaching "that age." He's developing his own personality, and his own will. I'm imagining it's a strong one! And, on top of ALL that, you're trying to maintain a new life style of healthy eating and exercise. Phew! I think you should cut yourself some slack. A powerwalk with DDT in the stroller is a great way to blow off some steam, or maybe go to the park and let DDT chase you all over. As a bonus, it'll tire him out, and maybe he'll take a nice, long nap! ;-)
One day at a time, Sister, one day at a time...
I completely agree with chitown. Cut yourself some slack. It is not easy having a toddler, and having them day after day after day in a battle of wills is bound to make even the "best" more crazy. I have seen you in action. You are an awesome mom. And sometimes raising our voice is the only way to remind our little men that we mean business.
Call me if you need me, and I can tell you all about how much I have yelled at my child today.
Hey Girl! RAB said you'll fill me in on what's going on with his blog. Shoot me an email when you have some time!!
Girls, I love you!!
